How do I add a book?
Tap + in the library and pick a TXT, EPUB, or PDF file. Tap the book to start reading. Tap once to pause/resume, drag to jump, and use the speed slider to change pace live.
Where are my books stored?
On your device only. Wisp is local-first — there’s no account and nothing is uploaded.
What’s free?
Your first 10 book imports are free, in full, in any format.
What does Wisp Pro add?
Unlimited imports plus focus-strength tuning (how tightly the “Focused” mode spotlights the active line), available as a yearly plan (with a free trial), monthly, or a one-time Lifetime unlock.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings (gear icon in the library) → Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your device: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Wisp. You can also reach this from Wisp’s Settings → Manage subscription.
A PDF won’t open / shows no text.
Wisp reads the text layer of a PDF. Scanned/image-only PDFs (no selectable text) can’t be read yet, as Wisp does not OCR.
Is this speed-reading / word flashing (RSVP)?
No. Wisp is a continuous, natural flow that keeps full sentences and comprehension — not single-word flashing.
